“ですから、あなたは、私たちの主をあかしすることや、私が主の囚人であることを恥じてはいけません。むしろ、神の力によって、福音のために私と苦しみをともにしてください。”(Ⅱテモテ 1:8)
Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God (2 Timothy 1:8).
Living Above Sin
“というのは、罪はあなたがたを支配することがないからです。なぜなら、あなたがたは律法の下にはなく、恵みの下にあるからです。”(ローマ 6:14)
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace (Romans 6:14).
Faith Doesn’t Give Up!
“･･･まことに、あなたがたに告げます。もし、からし種ほどの信仰があったら、この山に、『ここからあそこに移れ』と言えば移るのです。どんなことでもあなたがたにできないことはありません。”(マタイ 17:20)
“…for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you” (Matthew 17:20).
Something More Than Material Possessions
“知恵の初めに、知恵を得よ。あなたのすべての財産をかけて、悟りを得よ。”(箴言 4:7)
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting, get understanding (Proverbs 4:7).
